Sometimes, it’s hard to say ‘no’ to the boss who demanded immediate task to be done. Learn tips to reject without the worry of being reprimanded or fired:
- Find a time and place to tell the boss.
- Never argue with him or ask you to refuse the task in front of others.
- Be calm, tactical and ready with an answer to why you can not perform the requested task at this time.
- With a normal volume, explaining also that without prejudice to respect for superiors and authority, you can not do the job.
- Give your boss a chance to respond and let go of his anger.
